(Progress Update #4)
Oh! Hi! Welcome to the April Features Post! Here, you will see many new features added in April (and a tiny bit of march), anyways, lets dive in!
Progress Update #4 isn't As Sizable as Progress Update #3, Beacuse i Dont Want to spoil Everything, i Added 2 New minigames, but It Will do spoilering It After Release.
I. Starting off with Level Editor Update! Level Save Preview!
Level saving got Updated from Alpha 1.0 to Alpha 2.0, beacuse there is a New Big Addition to IT! SAVE PREVIEW!
This is what it looks like! the Save Preview starts to bring more creativity to the game, looking at it textures. it may be very useful for Builders. so, if you like making Levels... LISTEN UP! beacuse this might help you by a TON!
The Save Preview opens up with a UI with 9 different buttons. First is the exit button. no suprise here. However, the rest of the Buttons have a USE. The second button is very important, the Save File button! you can choose a save file to see your level objects. so its useful.
The 4 Buttons next to each other are so called " Property Buttons " which can help you if you want to get some information about the level. You WILL be able to see the Size, Type, and Position (X,Y) of the chosen save number. to see the info, just click on them! then a message will pop up saying the property info.
Wait? what is a Save Number???
Glad you ask! the Save number determines the chosen editor block of the save file list, its the main way how loading levels work. these work like costume numbers (GO TO PROGRESS UPDATE #1 TO UNDERSTAND) but the player can edit the variable, well, the Save number, and see the properties, this is the Save Preview,s main purpose.
Dont get it? let me give you an example.
if you search for the 23rd save number (as seen in screenshot), the editor block will set its properties from the 23rd saved editor block. now get it? good, beacuse this can help you understand the block change numbers.
The Block change numbers come in 2 variations. Block change -, and block change +, The (-) Variant changes chosen save number by -1, and The (+) Variant changes chosen save number by +1. so you can switch between chosen editor blocks, cool?
Well its even cooler when you hear the fact you can still clone the viewed editor block from the save preview! you can use it to recreate levels without save loading! but save loading is still more effective, but save preview lets you see the editor blocks and choose which to clone!
In other words, the save preview lets players to see Saved editor blocks, look into save files, and see the properties, it can help you a LOT! SO Dont forget to use it!
Okay, enough about the Save Preview, beacuse its time for something next:
II. Voicelines and Soundtracks!
Here,s a Look at a New Brand New Feature that is needed in Level Editor, Voicelines and Soundtracks!
Well, its self explainatory. you pick one of the 6 available Voicelines and Soundtracks. you can also test them if you want. This will help variety and Level costumization by a Lot.
Sorry for the post being short, but there will be a lot of short additions worth mentioning like this one. so embrace yourself.
III. Plus Mode
Normal mode is one of the First Modes to be added to the Game, and it has its spirit even today, However, most of the Features are quite outdated. no items more updated than Trap (WHICH FUNCTIONS LIKE IN ALPHA), the map never got any updated except the cafeteria layout, and no more new mechanics except time limits.
I decided to fix this, by adding a new Mode, PLUS MODE!
It uses all modern features of the game. such as keys, new items, like baldi ruler, glue soda, and diet sprays, it also has 9 notebooks instead of 7 notebooks since it uses the key machine mechanic and some random classroom. one of the faculty rooms have changed into mini playgrounds. it will also have a stick mechanic, where sometimes a stick will spawn in the most random edge of the map, and when used on a campfire to get a random mediocore item. time limit is 5 minutes. Every character in the game is here, EVENTS ARE HERE. and More! i reccomend playing it since it gives you enough FBs to buy you a Spray. i hope you will enjoy it!

- Difficulty: Hard
- Keys: 3-4.
- All Events except principal helps player.
- Time Limit: 5:00
New Items: Baldi Ruler, Diet Spray, Glue Soda.
- Rooms: Field, faculty, cafeteria, Classroom, hallway, Event room.
- Enjoyability: 6.7/10
IV. Fun Way to get FBs! Quests!
I added a fun new mechanic to the game, which can fundemently slightly change the game,s economy. the Quests! a fun new feature!

Let me explain on how quests work:
Every 40-80 minutes, all 3 quests get refreshed and will have a randomly picked quest, quests can come from selling/buying items, beating normal modes, and easy challenges. There are 17 different quests the game can choose. and there are 4200 different quest combinations!
the time is random, and the player cant see how much time remaining, so the player must quickly do them if they want a reward. The quests can also repeat themselfs. however, Its Very Rare! almost 1/100 chance! but thats for 2 quests to be the same objective. if you want all 3 quests take only as much effort as 1 quest, good luck, as its almost impossible, unless you have GODLIKE LUCK. (1/1700 or ((17 to the power of 3) divided by 3). you will most likely get 3QO, which means three quest objective, i will use it for Future Progress Updates.
2QO means two quest objective, which means the player gets 3 quests with only 2 objectives since one of the quests repeat themselfs.
1QO means one quest objective, it is way too rare, but if you get it, post to me! it means the player gets 3 quests with only 1 OBJECTIVE since all quests repeat themself
What about the reward???
Well, the reward is 10-50 FBs. when entering quests tab with all the quests done, you get teleported to main menu and a randomizer wheel spawns, deciding what prize will be between 10-50 FBs, it can be 10,20,30,40 or 50. every prize pool is as rare. the wheel takes 20 seconds to choose.
Quests are a Fun Feature! it motivates you do to quests and rebeat some levels for cool rewards, definetly try it! and good luck getting good quests and the 1QO! anyways...
V. New Item! Glue Soda!
This is the new item in shop and in a few gamemodes!
Before Alpha 6, BSODAs used to be in the game, but it was eventually broken and then was replaced by the Sprayer. well, Beta 1 brings BSODAs back! but with a unique twist...
This is the Glue Sprayer, available in Plus Mode, Floor 2, Floor 4, and Floor 6!
The item is similar to the BSODA, it costs 25 FBs, it can also be between 20-32 FBs. so it can be cheap and expensive. when used, a blockage spawns and heads towards baldi. baldi gets pushed back with the blockage, and sometimes even gets pushed to the edge of the level. so its OP item. definetly try it out!
The items price might change to 35 FBs in the future beacuse there are more sources of getting FBs now being ways to get by Quests, Bundles, and Gambling Stations. so The game might soon get a big price bump. but what do YOU think? do you like the item? do you want it to be more expensive, do you think its too OP? let me know!
VI. Improvements & Level Info Features!
In Beta 1 PreRelease, there was an option called name level option, which was actually a placeholder button, i turned it into a working button. info button, when clicked on applied button with the option set. it transports you to the level name and description settings, where you can name your level and set description.
You can set your name to a max of 20 characters. and set between 10 different descriptions, whenever it is about hating the level, making a subscriber special, or announcing the hardest level, you can set your description just like that! you will be able to see the name of the created level in Elevator when playing the level (as long as its from a save file)
it is useful for storing levels if you want to store a name and desciption, so definetly try it! anyways...
VII. UI Menu Updates
In Full Beta 1, i decided to Update Main Menu and Settings, so the Graphics would get a tiny bit nicer and better. now they feel up to date with the upcoming version. there is a look:

Main menu got its new graphics for the First Time EVER. here,s a preview:
OLD! (26/09/2024-19/04/2024)
Although the OLD version of the Main Menu is Nice, its worth to point out that it mildly can be against the intensity and adventures of the game. the deco is quite outdated.
I Promised in Progress Update #1 that the Alpha UI will be updated, so i decided to change the main menu by a bit, here,s a Look:
NEW! (20/04/2025 and onward...)
The Menu looks up to date! it has its brown menu, up to date deco, and change textures button got placed below account button. it also says the release of the update and its success. it also starts using different fonts (Reem Kufi) for more depth. the main menu buttons also now go up and down a bit, for more DEPTH, the UI also has its animation of going up when entering the main menu. so the main menu in conclusion is much better. ANYWAYS, lets preview the settings:
OLD! (Version: Beta 1, made in 15/01/2025)
It was made during PreBeta 1 Development, the Settings was a step up compared to its Alpha Placeholders, instead of utilizing a few backdrops to set category, it instead uses costumes to change category, it also uses additional options, such as credits, Cheat menu, music info, GUI settings. in other words, the settings menu got revamped. and its a success. however, a few things arent unfortunately done. and thats why im adding a new update to settings:
NEW (Version: Beta 2, Made in 20/04/2025)
It was made during FULL Beta 1 Development, it was updated to Beta 2, meaning settings wont get a rework until Atleast Beta 3, but its close to being done for V1.0.
Skins Settings were Pretty Lame, so i moved them to UI settings (which was initially called Permormance/Gameplay Settings) it now stores everything that affects UI, like buttons, slots, and more.
Other/Extra Settings have been Split. The Extras settings have most initinal settings, while other settings have customizer modes and disable flashing lights.
There will also be SOUND SETTINGS, where the player can set more specific sounds, such as ambiences, sounds, musics, and effects.
Overall, the new settings is an improvement, so reccommend liking it!
VIII. HELL Mode! (Placeholder UI)
the new Gamemode is HELL MODE! its MAIN purpose is Challenging the Player by Adding Stupidly Difficult Schoolhouses, it goes from Mediocore, like chalkster, to Extreme, to World,s Hardest Schoolhouse. the rewards are LARGE, you can even get up to 200 FBs, Epic bundles, Void Items, and MORE!
It is HARDER than the NULL V2 mode, beacuse let me show you the WHS:
It barely has any items to help with, with 1 tape, zesty, spray, ruler, and diet spray.
Detention is longer, lasts 15 seconds. and when getting all 6 notebooks, Baldi is Faster than the Player! so characters like the worm are REALLY crucial. it might take 50 attempts, so get ready, beacuse the price is 150 FBs, and epic Bundle, worth 40 more FBs! so its a difficult level, but worth it!
IX. Speedy Mode Phase 2???
Speedy Mode got its FIRST ever Update in the entire history of the Game, and the Update is QUITE GOOD!
The Update adds Phase 2 to the game. what does happen in Phase 2???
Well, when you get all 4 exits and 7 notebooks in the " First phase " the Notebooks and exits reset and you will have to Collect All 7 notebooks and exits again!!!
the game gets 2x faster, baldi wont at the beggining, but will speed up over time you get notebooks, at the end, he is as fast as player, just like in end of Phase 1 of the Gamemode, however since the characters (player and baldi) are twice as fast, the player might have problems navigating the schoolhouse since it is SO FAST. the ending is still the same.
The Update is Fantastic and i hope it will be Enjoyable!

X. Prototype Random Mode Testing.
Even though Random Mode was Meant to be in Future Beta Updates, i decided to Try to add a Template, Prototype 0. which begins Randomly Generated Floors Testing. its currently not very good, but i will soon release a new update to it, Prototype 1, which adds generated classrooms,
In FULL Beta 1. its actually Playable! there will be a random amount of notebooks between 2-9. and exits (rotation not fully working). there will also be Baldi, Worm, Spitter, and DoppelGanger.
REMEMBER! It will be a Mildly finished Prototype, meaning it is 100% subject to change some things, like generation, and MORE! i will look forward to adding more improvements soon. In Beta 2, it will get Prototype 1 or 2. and i will add more features to it soon, here,s a roadmap:
Prototype 0: Release in FULL BETA 1, it will add Basic Generation, Few Characters, Notebooks and Exits
Prototype 1: Release in BETA 1.5, it will add Rooms, Basic Structures, and Principal. it will also add custom time limits
Prototype 2: Release in BETA 2 Prerelease: it will add first item spawns, UI, RNG baldi, generation minor changes
Prototype 3: Release in Beta 2 FULL: it will add Full Working Item spawns, character spawns, Custom GameRules, Difficulty and Minor Generator Settings
Alpha: Release in Beta 3: it will add more configurations, custom wall designs, basic pathfinding, More Spread out Generation, Item Rarities.
Beta: Release in Beta 4: will fix all bugs, possible secret areas, Fully non crashing. Achievments according to Random mode, Multi Floor Random Mode settings.
Released: Release in Beta 5: all Bugs and Issues Fixed, all possible up to date features added.

XII. New Cancelled Game Teasers - Baldi Basics Mod 2 and Minecraft Basics
1. Baldi Basics Mod 2!
Baldi,s Basics Mod 2 is a Sequel of Baldi,s Basics Mod. with Better and More Features, but with very similar features, such as lack of inventory, textures, and more.
However, Baldi Basics Mod 2 didnt come out yet, not because of being demotivated, but its now Temporarely Cancelled, meaning the Game wont be into Looks for a While. i will eventually come back in Early Summer and Complete the Early Access Version. but for now, i want to work on Baldi,s Ultimate Remaster, since thats the main Project for now.
I Got 2 screenshots of the Game, here is what they look like:

the game is still in thinking on how to work this out. so dont worry, the beauty wont be thrown into the Trash Can.
2. Minecraft,s Basics.
The Game was Almost Finished, but well, it got cancelled, at least, for now.
The game has a Functioning Inventory Slot, good items, and good deco, and one of the Gamemodes already work. so it,s mostly done for early access, however, due to having deadlines with the main project, Baldi,s Ultimate Remaster, i currently decided to not work on it right now. i will come back in MID summer, and do 2 options:
1. Update the Game Every 2-4 weeks.
2. Sell the Game to someone for atleast $2. so i can be happy with my money sale.
Of Couse, i dont know if the decisions WILL happen, but lets see the future later.

Anyways, i hope you Guys Enjoyed seeing these 2 Games, beacuse they wont be accesible for now, and will be accessible only in a few months. Anyways, lets go Back to Baldi,s Ultimate Remaster, for One Last Addition!
XIII. Graphic Updates (level editor)
I PROMISED FOR THE SAKE OF WHOLE BETA 1 START DEVELOPMENT, that i will Upgrade Graphics, and SO many people argued about the Bad Graphics. so for the SAKE of GOD, let me show you the Brand New Textures Everyone Has Been ASKING FOR!
I Made Some Preview Screenshots of the New Retextured Floor Designs
1. A Preview of The New Faculty Floor Texture in Level Editor.
The New Textures are an Improvement, it also makes the Faculty Floor Quite Different from Other Baldi games. it will be fun to expierience that.
2. A Preview of New Retextured Floor Designs (2nd Variant Hallway and Classroom Floor) in the Level Editor.
The New Textures are Very Nice! the Textures finally get a good Feel like the OG Baldi! i also Retextured Notebooks to its Unused Alpha Model, how nice!
3. Another Preview of the Retextured Hallway Blocks and More Build Examples.
the Hallway Graphics are Nice! i just need to Configurate Background to match with it. the other used blocks here, such as Taping thing, Shrink area are quite good! hope to be Used!
if you dont like the mix of The Realistic Hallway blocks with Brown BackGround, there is a Second Version:
The V2 is Much Better! it fits to its Brown Background, which is quite good. i also used the Exit Example, where its also nice with new Retextured Block Deco.

Additionally, i Slightly changed The Model of the Price Changer (and made it a lot cheaper too)

The Textures are now So Much Better! i made the Graphics more Baldi Style, i am happy to finally add the new textures so the People wont complain.
The Textures were a Main Critisizm of the Game, so i finally adressed this issue.
I am too lazy to convert the Textures into full gameplay currently, and after release of Beta 1 in 13th May, i will release Version 0.6b, or Beta 1.01
